BioRedox (± 99 Eh)

The application of probiotics to encourage good bacteria has proven to reduce infection and disease, thus increases the survival rate. Reduction Potential (Eh) or BioRedox readings are used in monitoring the biological balance of an enclosed circulated water system for aquatic culture. This is a way to monitor bacteria interaction and if good bacteria is active. When there is an upset in the biological system of the enclosed water system, the BioRedox reading will deviate from the healthy trend. This could be an indication of an increase in ammonia, nitrite, nitrates, or a decrease in oxygen. Thus BioRedox can be used as the first health indicator of an enclosed water system. BioRedox potential is monitored over days or weeks and charting its trend will allow users to take action before massive fatalities occur.
